I paid to have it installed. Plumber was not impressed with quality or installation of the faucet. In order to retract fully, weight had to be set such that only about 8" extended out. The weight should be installed such that it should extend about 18". If you move the weight to extend 18" inches, then the faucet will not retract correctly unless you open the door and pull from the hose. I called the 800 # and they said I needed a clip. The clip came without instructions and I could not figure it out. I called American standard and they had no record that I called. But stated that the clip was not appropriate. They apologized, told me that they would actually enter me in the system and send an additional weight. It has been about 3 weeks and we are still waiting. So I will need to call them. This cost too much money for this to even occur. It is either poor design or poor planning in my opinion. I would stay away from this brand and this model.
