Blanco 441231 3-in-1 Basket Strainer - Stainless Steel

Not quite what I expected

I ordered the drain set to go along with my Blanco fireclay sink. I thought that the quality would be matched. I was a little disappointed/miffed that the main drain body housing was made of PVC and tightening the stainless screw that holds the PVC tight to the underside of the sink is a delicate endeavor. When prepared to install I removed the screw and the PVC appeared to be stripped. I did install the unit and it is holding without leaks, just a bit unnerving and irritating to have a part that is flawed from the start. I would liked to have seen a more durable metal or brass mount.
