The product is exactly as described, it is a mini hotwater tank. It heats up quick and looks good under the sink. I am using it at the sink in my outdoor kitchen next to the pool where without a product like this I would have been limited to only cold water. I bought the 2.5 gallon due to size. The only downfall is as you use the hot water the incoming cold water mixes with the hot water and the water in the tank cools quickly. This is no different than any other hot water tank, just more noticable due to the small tank capacity. If you have room for one of the bigger units I would opt for that especially if your incoming water is cold water. Overall very pleased with the product and would purchase again.
