The sink came as advertised and it is a bit stronger than the ones I've seen at the big box stores. The self rimming feature works well with a counter top. My box did not come with a template that usually makes it easy to determine the cut out. I think templates are pretty standard with sinks so this was a disappointment. However, it is relatively easy to place the sink upside down on the counter and mark the outside dimensions. Then, you just cut approximately one half inch inside the dimension. I chose not to completely cut out this area since the back of the sink allows for many variations of faucet configurations. I left this area in tact and later drilled into the counter the one-hole faucet access I needed. A template would have made this easier. The directions regarding the drain should also indicate that a silicone bead is required when installing the drain. Plumbers probably know all of this already but I had to do a bit of research to determine the best way of preventing water leaking from the drain. I wasn't sure if plumbers putty or silicone was best. I chose silicone and hope it works over the long term.The sink itself is good and I can recommend it.
First one delivered was cracked in box. Contacted customer service after sending pictures of damage, new one shipped. 2nd sink arrived intact. Overall a nice replacement sink for garage.
I've owned this model for 15 years. Replaced it with same model, only because it currently is offered in white (old sink was grayish white). I really like the sink for its depth of 14" to reduce splashing. It is very durable. The finish is satin and doesn't scratch, unless you're trying to scratch it! It can be easily cleaned with Barkeeper's Friend or Bon Ami to get rid of any surface stains. Bleach doesn't seem to hurt it, while other brands of utility sinks often state you can't use bleach in the sink! In a laundry room, soaking clothes in bleach in this sink is a cinch. Go with this sink if you want great, sturdy utility sink.
Good Sink at a good price. Looks good with a motion sense faucet. Deepest basin I could locate. Only odd thing was in being a same part from same manufacturer item purchased 13 years ago, they changed the distance from drain to back just a little shorter. No big, to just cut about an inch off the PVC drain pipe that was there.
