I install it. Customer is happy. I get paid. And that's about it
I used to own the 1/2 HP insinkerator and want something that is a little bit more powerful so I upgrade to the 3/4 HP version. To my surprise it seems like the 3/4 HP has lots more power that the 1/2 HP. It operates very smoothly and has that quick and powerful grind that I like as compared with the 1/2 HP. If you want a little bit more extra power, the 3/4 HP version is an excellent choice.
Replaced a 1 HP Kitchen Aid that whirred but didn't grind. The 3/4 HP ISE is plenty powerful. And quieter. Installation was straightforward, but not easy, for this 79-year old do-it-yourselfer.
Fast Delivery, Was very easy to install, like the 3/4 HP Motor for the price of 1/3 HP Models at Box Stores. Runs very quiet and most of all, is wattanted for a full 3 years. A great value.
Replaced a 12 year old Insinkerator that the case rotted through on. Appears to be a normal thing. Straight forward install that took about 20 minutes. I changed models but picked one with similar dimensions that required no mods. Biggest thing was the money saved from Faucet Depot and that I received it within a couple days of ordering. The unit performs as well as the old with low vibration and relatively low noise

This is the most basic disposer. It does the job if you don't ask too much of it. Its main problem: the shredder rotor (aka "blade") is made of a regular steel (not stainless); it rusts and crumbles away in about 3 years of mild use. It is possible to fix the disposer, but there is no easy/cheap way to find parts and to perform the task; so, most consumers are basically supposed to throw away an almost new and almost perfect appliance with a fully functional motor and to buy another (and not-so-cheap) one every 3 years just because of the failure of a small and quite primitive part. I am already on my third Badger now. I was looking for a better disposer, but it appears that only this model fits under my kitchen sink (my home was built 45 years ago and last remodeled 25 years ago). So, I am stuck with Badgers until my next remodeling (or next move).
fairly quiet compared to others for the price
The garbage disposal is very quite and easy to install. Also, you get more bang for the buck.
Normal kitchen use for a family of four. It is quieter than I thought it would be.
My plumber highly recommended this product and I trust his expertise.
