A Plumber came out initially, could not tell me who the manufacturer was of my faucet, just told me it was very old and I would have to replace the entire faucet if I could not find the correct springs to fit - because that was the cause of the leak. Went to a Plumbing store (Bell Plumbing) and they kept trying to say it was a Milwaukee faucet. So I went to Home Depot and asked for their "Plumber" before I broke down and bought a new faucet, and he looked at the old Pressure Cartridge that I had in hand, and said it was a Price Pfister and that I could order that entire cartridge from Price Pfister online and that it might have a life time warranty (The bathroom itself is 12 years old). The contractor never registered it so it was not on the replacement warranty, so I priced it everywhere I could online, and with shipping, Faucet Depot was by far the cheapest, and it was delivered standard delivery in 3 days. I will come here from now on, for any faucet needs, and who needs a plumber, it is so easy to install and as long as I find the cause of the leak, I know I will be able to fix it right away. Thank you Faucet Depot!!!

I was considering breaking open the wall to install a new shower/tub control. I was amazed to find a cartridge for a tenty year old product. Contractors must hat you.
Part worked great, was delivered on time.
My whole house lost hot water due to my old balancing cartridges sticking and causing cold water to flow to other fixtures. They were 15 years old and I guess both went out at the same time. Replaced both with cartridges from Faucet Depot and now my house has hot water again. These are hard to find but Faucet Depot had them in stock and I had one delivered four days after I ordered.
The product was an exact fit and stopped the leak. It would be nice to buy just the o-rings because that is the only thing that goes bad.
The part I ordered was the correct part and it replaced the old cartridge that had been in use for almost 15 years. Just make sure the rubber seals stay in place during the installation and the cartridge is positioned/aligned in the housing just like the old cartridge. Otherwise, you'll get hot water first when opening the valve.

Price pfister seems to be a lessor brand I have never had a failure and very little issues with my 10 year old contracter grade faucets. This was a shower that is used by two people everyday and this is the first cartridge I have put in.

Second time I have needed to replace this part. I hope this one last longer then the 2 years the previous one lasted.
I would purchase this product again.

Make sure to align it properly. Note the alignment of the old one before taking apart and match the new old exactly the same. Otherwise, the hot/cold, on/off won't work properly.

The shower cartridge that came with the faucet was defective and was not still under warranty. This was the perfect replacement. Faucet works fine now!
As a replacement cartridge for this Price-Fister Faucet goes, this is a Price Fister OEM item and is as good as any. Excellent low price. The negative comment I have is not about the replacement gartridge, rather it pertains to the fact that these cartridges, no matter from what source, never last more than about two years. Seems its a general durability design flaw with this pressure balancing cartride system itself. Had I know how frequently I would have to replace these, I would have chosen a different faucet. Now, I'm stuck with frequent rrepalcement. I buy extras to keep handy.

Nothing fantastic about this part. It's simply a replacement in case your other one breaks. So far I have had it installed for a month with zero issues. I will update this review if it breaks but it feels solid.
