You can be sure that this is the original replacement Sloan brand, this works perfectly.
Overtightened and cracked two of these because the water kept leaking so tightened more and cracked both very easily.
I have three Sloan Flushmates in my house. All were leaking slightly and decided to replace the valve. First note that the valve sold is a different design than the original - this confused me when ordering. Secondly the valve is made of a soft plastic - i misthread one and had to discard it - if you must buy buy extras, and when installed the new valve leaks.
