Fit perfectly, came with clear instructions. Took tank off the toilet and installed the Sloan unit in the tank. Then replaced the tank. The staff at Faucet Depot was great in getting us to the right replacement part, placing the order, and getting parts to our door.
Easy install, worked great to replace our old 501-b unit with top mounted flusher. When installing, I added a small amount of silicone to the gaskets and fittings just to be safe. This power flusher can handle fairly large dumps with ease. I had extra cheesy chicken enchiladas for supper and the Flushmate handled it promptly the next morning. This unit has also handled "double dumps", where my girlfriend takes a dump and then I take a dump on top of that dump. This happens rarely, usually first thing in the morning when we both race to the toilet. There is some hesitation, but the Solan Flushmate powers though it with ease. We have used the Flushmate with type 1 dumps, which are generally carb free and fairly lumpy, with a very hard texture. We have also done type 2, which is a constipated mixture of hard lumps and fibrous material that holds them together. Type 3 dumps, those which are kind of like hard sausage with cracks, work particularly well with this product. Transit time for type 3 can be fairly lengthy and exhaustive, its nice knowing that you won't have to deal with a plunger in the aftermath. I highly recommend this Flushmate power flusher for your most demanding toilet operations. Thanks Faucet Depot!
